Kern is delivering the last new Kern 2600 inserting system to a customer in Japan, which is operating in the energy sector.

This marks the end of a particularly significant era that began with the Kern 2000.

Letzte Kern 2600 / Last Kern 2600

In 2009, the Kern 2600 multifunctional high-performance inserting system was presented for the first time at the Kern User-Forum in Germany as the follow-on system to the successful Kern 2500. Especially in the Japanese market, with its requirements for multi-channel systems, the Kern 2600 was in high demand. The Kern 1600 multi-format system, which is already well established on the market and is characterized by high flexibility, fast changeover, maximum reliability and simple operation, is available as the new successor. Kern has streamlined its product portfolio and is now focusing on the Kern 1600, Kern 3200 and Kern 3600 inserting systems.
