Kern Group repositions itself for the future.

Personnel and structural reorganization at all levels. A spirit of optimism at the Kern Group: With the new management trio in the strategic and operational business, Caroline and Barbara Kern, together with Stefan Wüthrich, want to continue the success story of the traditional Swiss family business.

Kern-Gruppe stellt sich für die Zukunft neu auf

The focus will remain on the innovative strength of Kern Systems, which has always set standards. A cultural change within the entire organization is also to be driven forward: A strong solidarity with all bodies and at all levels is to further strengthen and expand the already close customer ties: "The satisfaction of our customers is our top priority and we see how the forward-looking platform strategy is proving its worth in day-to-day business," emphasizes the new management trio.

The current order situation allows those responsible to look to the future with just as much optimism as the progress made with the personnel restructuring in the boards. Despite all the spirit of optimism and all the changes, Kern continues to stand firmly by its roots and remains in family hands. "As a prospering and innovative company, we also consider ourselves fortunate to be able to build on our experienced employees," says CEO Stefan Wüthrich.

In addition to the continuous further development of the Kern product portfolio, those responsible want to pave the way for a successful future by modernizing internal structures. The personnel and structural realignment entails further changes: The role of CFO and member of the Group Management will be taken over by Daniel Blau. He has been working for the Kern Group since May 1, 2023. Daniel Ebener has been brought back as Head of the Kern Services business unit worldwide and member of Group Management. He was already responsible for the service business from September 2020 to August 2022. Bernhard Lengacher completes the management team. He is responsible for HR and Transformation.

The focus of those responsible is now fully on the systems in all segments: The Kern Group has always been known for always aligning its products and solutions close to the needs and expectations of the market. This requires a high degree of foresight and close customer contact. The Kern Group stands for both. This expertise, hard-won over the past 75 years, forms the basis for the successful placement of the systems.

At Kern, everything continues to come from a single source: from development to production, installation and commissioning on site. All segments are seamlessly linked to the traditional inserting business (kernMail). The shipping logistics business (kernPack) is also successfully occupied: Kern is the right partner when it comes to packaging, transporting and sorting. Kern's worldwide service guarantees optimum system availability and productivity. In addition, the kernTerminal division offers solutions for the secure transfer of goods and documents.

"Innovation remains a tradition with us! Precisely because many changes are being driven forward now, we rely on an absolute team spirit within the Kern Group and open communication with our customers," emphasizes the management trio.
