The Kern 999 Cutting and Grouping Module, for instance, is capable of processing up to 80,000 A4 documents per hour. To feed this high-speed input module, Kern had to develop a correspondingly fast roll unwinding module.
The Kern 100RF is able to feed continuous forms at a rate of up to 240 m/min.
The standard roll unwinding module for Kern inserting systems is the Kern 100. To accommodate various system configurations, the operating panel can be mounted on either side of the module.
An interface with the inserting system allows for automatic roll rewinding, a feature that prevents the paper from becoming curled when the system remains stationary for a longer period of time.
Our advanced controller, with easy-to-use color touch screen, stores and provides a wealth of information concerning the processed print data.
This data can be remotely accessed via a network connection called DFD Online© so that it can be used by ADF software or evaluated in a spreadsheet.
DFD Online capabilities are optional in Kern's Document Finishing on Demand modules for the digital printing industry.
