Kern - Roll to cut and insert

Kern is a renowned manufacturer of high-performance inserting systems incorporating ultra-fast input modules.
The Kern 999 Cutting and Grouping Module, for instance, is capable of processing up to 80,000 A4 documents per hour. To feed this high-speed input module, Kern had to develop a correspondingly fast roll unwinding module.

The Kern 100RF is able to feed continuous forms at a rate of up to 240 m/min, a speed that no other unwinder on the market can reach.

The standard roll unwinding module for Kern inserting systems is the Kern 100S. To accommodate various system configurations, the operating panel can be mounted on either side of the module.

An interface with the inserting system allows for automatic roll rewinding, a feature that prevents the paper from becoming curled when the system remains stationary for a longer period of time.
